Maps of Counties with Community Wind Potential
County level wind maps are for prospecting. They provide an indication of wind resources, the electric grid, and boundaries of areas where wind may be more difficult to develop. Download the map for your area. Study the legend carefully. Note: These maps are Adobe pdf files with a sheet size of 24 x 36. They are best viewed with Adobe Reader 7. All maps are at the same scale. To turn off scale adjustment and allow maximum map size go to the Layers TAB and turn off "County Level Boundaries.
